Although I never posted midweek, I did managed to find a few winners with Need Luck being a great result on Thursday.

Looks a fairly substandard meeting today however, with the opening race being a prime example. Weather is good and rail is at 6m. Hopefully the track will race truly.

Race 1: Heart Ache looks a moral but anything can happen in small fields. Speed is questionable so am expecting a hacking pace. Brunello the logical danger and Caller One and Sentenza to improve.

Tips 2 -5 -1 -6

Race 2: An open event. Cool Handle was unrucky last time when held up at a vital point in the race. Sound System races as though the 1200m will suit and Auburn Streak has drawn to advantage. Easi Cummins should appreciate the trip and of the triallers, Hi Kilmore and Vexillum are a chance.

Tips 2 -3-1 - 8 -12 - 7

Race 3: An interesting staying race. Hawkeye Was well ridden last start. Cohort had its chance. Sunrange boxed on well last Sat and would be a chance if it could get across early and sit behind Hawkeye. Wicklow Hills returned to some of its best form after have quite a few leg problems. Admiring surprised me and Jeverre is a hope.

Tips 4 -2 -1 -8 -9

Race 4: Two staying races in the one day. Bizzaca is going well. Best Beware a chance. Test The Angles will ahve to work early but is going well. Western Jewel is an interesting runner at the dist for the first time and Kiwatiri should improve further.

Tips 2 - 8 -1 -6 -14

Race 5: Looks to be three main chances. King Kool Kat, Ten Aces and Kenbon. Speed is critical and the top two will control the race. Kenbon just needs luck but will be hitting the line hard late. Has no weight so if they do go a tad hard, will be hard to hold out.

Race 6: Basically a midweek affair. Where's There Smoke looks the class runner but is drawn awkwardly. Avante is well drawn and will be hard to beat. Mega Mak is a show and Catcopr has been racing well.

Race 7: Best race of the day. Looks to be three main chances. Idyllic Prince is well in at WFA. Vain Raider should lead and might get an easy sectional to help late. Dantes Volonte ran very well fresh. Also expect improvement from Spitfire Ace. Foxy Boy is well drawn and a good place chance.

Race 8 We finsih with a tough one. I did back Never Forgotten 1st up and it ran well. Blinkers go onto today and from better draw, should be able to race a little handier. Freetime went super although the rating I got fromt hat race was relatively low. Lady Doll is a good chance. Drawn well and does finish off hard. Russell Road is worth including. Looked home last start when leading before weakening very late over the 1200m last start.
