Belmont Wed 14th July

Looks an interesting card with many chances in most races. Track looked a bit average Sat but the times were good. Rail out 15m with Cutaway in play.

Race 1: Spotted a roughie here in Emaho in the trials and first up, although well beaten, did fire off the best final sectional in its race. Miss Vinnoire finished quickly last week and should appreciate the trip. Lexdane looked a bit dour and should be improved form its first up run. Catch a Dream, Sandfire look the speed with Land Down Under expected to improve and Discovers a decent debut.

Race 2: Sound System went super first up and looks a standout for mine.

Tips 2 - 1 - 13 - 5 - 10

Race 3: Not an easy race. Classic Smile looks well suited to the trip. Fireside went super at both its first two starts and is drawn to advantage. Gotham City has raced in better class and Lordsea is dranw to run a place.

Race 4: Not a race I like. Ounced, Black Blast and Excellar have the form. Barn Burner trialled okay but would prefer over further. Metal Flake will go quick, at least I'll get that right. Danlesto is a maddie if they can get it in the barrier.

Race 5: Not a race I'm keen on. Zentusi had no luck last week and if it can get a softer run, might be worth a small EW investment. Modern Art will appreciate this class and Better Than Darcey is better than how its form reads. Endless Time has raced without luck and Special Project should be the speed.

Tips 10 - 16 - 8 - 4 - 2

Race 7: A good race with plenty of chances. Mister Mimms went well 1st up but not convinced it is a 1200m horse. China Bay goes well fresh, Decrytpor is drawn well bu t has been disappointing for mine. Forever Generous looked really good 1st up and Akheson will be in it for a long way. Mr N also went super fresh last time in so has a show.

Race 8: Really like don't Park. Philby has struck form and Racing Mak is a chance. Dante's was ridden the correct way last time and Portrait Lass has some ability. Resurgent is a chance too.

Race 9: A good race to finish. Interange was taken on yet still boxed on well, Full Moon was ultra impressive when resuming and Exhit was also a much better run 2nd up. Kernal Road can improve.
