Belmont Sat 19th

Looks a great card with many chances in most races.

Race 1: With so many first starters, this is a difficult race to assess however was very keen on the trial of Orbital Motion. Although slowly away, showed a great turn of foot and quickly rounded up the field when pulled to the outside. I booked Don't Say Boo at its first start. Was very green but once balanced, hit the line very well. I'm sure it would have benefitted from the run and has drawn well today. A definite smokey. Cappuncino Time, Lost Opera are the best of the raced brigade and good luck to the connections of Holy Sandgroper who restored their faith last time out. For the futre, keep an eye out for Demon Queen. Looks well suited to further.

Tips 5-4-7-1-11

Race 2: Looks interesting with a few nice types resuming. Morning Mist was an impressive winner 1st up. Raced handy and was able to sprint quickly. The Entourage is going super. Missed the kick but flew home last week. Previously led from inside draws in good fields. Lady Doll will appreciate drop back to this grade and the 1000m. Of those resuming, really like I'm Here To Win. Raced in superior class last time in and does race handy. Expect it to go really well if fit.

Race 3: Find these races a challenge. Hawkeye won well last time but received little pressure in the run. With Mega Steel in the field, there should be a little more speed on. Comic Hero is also an interesting addition. For some reason they have been riding it back and altough a query at the trip, is dropping in class. La Soeur Noir will be ridden quietly and is a show, especially if the speed is better. I'm actually going to have a punt on Telexden. Easily beaten by Hawk last time after having every chance but with Danny going back on, can see it dropping out last and swooping late down the outside.

Tips 4-6-3-8-2

Race 4: This is tough. Have been tipping Manilla I Scream until my nose bleeds. Doesn't win this, won't win one this prep. Best Beware ran well 1st up, Endless Times shapes as though will be suited (very unrucky last start) and Warburg is going okay. A smokey chance to Okay Geoff.

Tips 1-9-10-2-13

Race 5: This is a good race with many chances. Keen on Found and Kept, Vain Strike, Pearler and On The Warpath. Gamroy and Beau Rancher also have chances. One knows what they'll get with VS. Sit back and come with one run down the outisde. If they are making ground from well back, then I think it will go very close. On The Warpath has the draw to make its own luck however and so will probably start fav. Interesting to see how Seize Control goes. Prior to last run, was flying. Might have them chasing a fair bit from home. One thing is for sure, young Valenti will look like a thrashing windmill over the last 200m.

Race 6: The ever consistent Hide The Loot looks hard to beat in this. Brave Knight is drawn well again and Harvey will give it every chance. Exquisite Timing ran home well last week but this is harder. Kim Star went super after racing 3wide the trip and Jeverre will do what she does best, run home strongly again.

Race 7: This is a suer race. I have been really impressed with Our Ol' Fella this prep. Has the ability to race handy and has a good turn of speed. Drawn well. Moneghetti went super 1st up and although this is harder, showed last time in it can handle the class. Happy to risk Bridgestone but not Kershaar. It is a smart type and with the right run, will be hard to hold out.Tranquility is going really well and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mystic Hour come home at odds.

Race 8: An open affair to finish. Looks to be plenty of speed here so looking for something that will get the soft run might be the go. I thought Liquidation ran well when resuming. Challis has drawn well, Cassonova Jack makes its own luck and might get in. Pete The Profiler evidently trialled well but is not a horse I can catch. Have plenty of time for Taharka but will have to do it too tough today.
