Saturday Wrap 30th April

Ascot

Pretty happy to see the end of Ascot for another season. Form is always a bit topsy turvey over the next few weeks as we head back to Belmont with many horses resuming form spells.

Race 1: The Regulator has been in excellent form and was well handled by Yuill to win impressively. Hecacity looks likely to win a midweek event shortly.

Race 2: A very impressive win by trial booker in King Saul. Definitely one to follow. Dr Indy went well and is a coming winner. Shady Bet continues to hold its form and Right Time needs to learn to settle.

Race 3: Sense of Purpose appreciated the extra trip and should win again.

Race 4: Mio Fratello has been sensational over the past two months and I'll be the first to put their hand up and say I've got this one wrong. Super training effort.

Race 5: Wolfe Dreams appreciated the fact that it was allowed to dictate its own speed. Travelled beautifully throughout. Speccio needs a spell. Keytomoney went super and will be hard to beat if it can draw a barrier.

Race 6: Cavallo Pazzo is in rare form and was well handled by Yuill. Flying Heritage can get away with a 1000m race this time in. Robinho is well suited to a midweek race.

Race 7: Rosie Rocket ran a cracker after sitting 3 wide. Knight Fury ran well and The Pudge returned a good efort after a break. Saezuri was disappointing for mine.

Race 8: Metal Talk just too good. Villagio ran nicely and Will To Win won't be long out of the winning stall in WA.
