Looks a really good meeting to compliment the big one at Moonee Valley today.

Race 1: An interesting affair. Plenty of first starters and some nice types having their second runs. In Eden's Honour put in a slashing finish late, Regal Times boxed on well after doing some work and Lord Hatras was very green and should have finished closer. Of the triallers, was really impressed with Internationalist. Looked to do it comfortably at both trials. Drawn awkwardly but has a top jocket on board. Single Spice is a chance too.

Race 2: Plenty of speed here. Like Painted as a horse. Hopefully fit enough. Excessive looks to have plenty of ability and will appreciate 3yr old company. Hot Tamale will look the winner at some stage and Pribyl and Lost Opera should be getting home. 2,3,4 are all hopes but will be doing plenty of chasing.

Race 3: Western jewel and Hello Hero resume hostilities. Timberlands is consistent and Aitchison will appreciate this small field. The toppie is the class and Offer Me Jewels will appreciate this trip.

Race 4: Really like this race. 4 main chanes. Brooksmebaby is in rare form and is capable of producing a very nice sprint. Copper Reign was tough last start and Rosendale was pretty good 1st up and has since trialled. Riverside Drive is also flying. Surprised if anything else wins.

Race 5: Plenty of speed here. Club Liquid has a change of jockey which is a big query. Xaaravid never travelled when the speed was on two runs ago but is drawn a little better today. Brunello drawn to get gun run and Brother Mak should strip fitter. Big Ted has been a little disappointing but will enjoy the speed. Mscar is going well but this is much tougher. Could get caught doing the work.

Race 6: An interesting race. Morant is the class. Versarc has gone terrible last few but is the speed here and can lead. Stratazoa may improve. Clueless Angel was an excellent winner 1st up and Lead Rope, Snooperclyde and Dominicano are chances. Yabighorse showed a retrun to form last start.

Race 7: A really top race. Idylic Prince is well in and from the draw, just needs a clear run. Warratahs secret is very smart but this is his acid test. Grand Nirvana has been racing well and is better suited her at WFA. Werd is flying but will have to work hard outisde Vain Raider. Lucid Reflection went enormus at Kalgoorlie and is a place chance. For Your Eyes Only can get home hard but can't afford to give this lot too much of a start.

Race 8: An even field to finish. Extra beat is a nice type and it trialled really well for its return. Dante's Diamond is the speed. States Secret has come back well but this is tougher. Carlton Street resumed last time with a good effort and Kenile, Sherann and Our Larrikin will all be hitting the line hard late.
