Looks a nice race with one of my favourite horses looking to have a big chance.
There seems to be good speed with Liquidation, Classy Nugget and West
River Charley all likely to race forward. Star Risca has returned in top order and for me is the clear top pick. Be interested to see if Charley can repeat his last effort.

Ascot 20th October
Looks a really good meeting to compliment the big one at Moonee Valley today.
Race 1: An interesting affair. Plenty of first starters and some nice types having their second runs. In Eden's Honour put in a slashing finish late, Regal Times boxed on well after doing some work and Lord Hatras was very green and should have finished closer. Of the triallers, was really impressed with Internationalist. Looked to do it comfortably at both trials. Drawn awkwardly but has a top jocket on board. Single Spice is a chance too.

Race 2: Plenty of speed here. Like Painted as a horse. Hopefully fit enough. Excessive looks to have plenty of ability and will appreciate 3yr old company. Hot Tamale will look the winner at some stage and Pribyl and Lost Opera should be getting home. 2,3,4 are all hopes but will be doing plenty of chasing.

Race 4: Really like this race. 4 main chanes. Brooksmebaby is in rare form and is capable of producing a very nice sprint. Copper Reign was tough last start and Rosendale was pretty good 1st up and has since trialled. Riverside Drive is also flying. Surprised if anything else wins.

For Your Eyes Only can get home hard but can't afford to give this lot too much of a start.

Opening Day Rail 7m Weather - Very nice.
Race 1: Looks an even maiden. Vee Eight Joe ran a nice race midweek in stronger grade. Delianuova trialled well and should go close. Hard Candy will go fast. Pumphouse Pete looks as though he has improved but will be needing further. Like Aljizah as a horse but wil get back and Classy Dubai is a chance.

Race 2: Some good triallers here. Was impressed with Toss 'n' Spin, Gantheaume and Mantango. Star Raader was fair. Do Something and White Pointer must be place chances.
Tips 9 -6 -5 -11 -1 -14
Race 3: I really like this race. Plenty of exposed form with some decent triallers and the speed looks good. Metro Master is up to city class as is Lady Ladette. Durrah's Secret is a chance as will be on speed. Princess vivian raced in strong company last time and always hit the line well. Of the triallers, keen on Bells Victory who showed a turn of foot and Artesian Mist who looks like a run on type.
